Documentation & FAQ

Everything you need to know about setting up, sharing, and reading the spotted.wtf radar.

Getting Started

1. Download the Client: Once registered and subscribed, download spotted-wtf.exe from your Dashboard.

2. Launch CS2: Open Counter-Strike 2 and join a match (Premier, Comp, etc).

3. Run the Client: Double-click the executable. It will automatically run in the background as a system tray icon. The client reads game memory and securely streams it to your private web dashboard.

4. Open Radar: Click "Open Radar" on your dashboard from your phone, dual monitor, or Steam Overlay browser.

Radar Legend

Player Blips

Solid dots represent players. Blue for your team and Red for enemies. The short white line protruding from the dot shows where the player is aiming.

Health Borders

The colored ring immediately wrapping the player dot displays real-time health. Green means >66 HP. Orange is >33 HP. Red is critical (<=33 HP).

Elevation (Verticality)

On multi-level maps like Nuke, Vertigo, or Overpass, a thick black border around the player indicates they are on the lower level (e.g., Nuke B-Site or Secret).

Bomb Defusal

When a CT begins defusing, their blip will pulse. A Light Blue pulse means they have a defuse kit (5 seconds). An Orange pulse means no kit (10 seconds).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I share the radar with my teammates?
Yes! You can generate a "Share Link" directly from your dashboard. Anyone with the link can open the radar in their own browser and track the live game alongside you. Share links expire automatically or when you revoke them.
Is there a risk of getting banned?
The client only reads game memory; it does not write or modify any CS2 files. We also utilize dynamic stream-key patching to ensure the executable is unique for our active users. However, as with all external tools, use it at your own discretion.
How do I use this on the Steam Overlay?
Simply open your Steam in-game overlay (Shift+Tab), launch the browser, and navigate to your private radar url. You can pin the browser window and set the opacity so it sits seamlessly over your actual game screen!
